The 2020 BetVictor World Championship of Ping Pong returned to Alexandra Palace London for the eighth consecutive year at the end of January with national teams from all over the world competing for the top prize. Leading global Contract Tyre manufacturer, SD-Internationa (SDI) have sponsored the national team in China since 2017 through their popular brand – Pace but this year made their debut at the event as official Chinese Team sponsors.

The game of Ping Pong is completely different to table tennis in several ways including the fact that the bats used are produced from wood and have no rubber or sponge coverings but are just covered with a fine blue sandpaper material. So the rallies between players can be much longer and faster.
